PROCESS AND INTEGRATION
Meter, mix and dispense a repeatable PU gasket
The PU platform meters two conditioned components at the required ratio, mixes them on demand and follows the programmed gasket path. Repeatability depends on ratio control, output, nozzle condition, motion accuracy, component temperature and the cleaning cycle.
Provide the part or lid drawing, gasket path, target bead size, component data, cycle time and available utilities. The final proposal defines stroke, tanks, pumps, mixing head, cleaning method, controls and production interfaces. Acceptance should include ratio, bead dimensions, cure result and sealing performance.
MACHINE CONFIGURATION
Configure PU dispensing around metering, mixing and path control
The two-component PU machine conditions and meters separate components, mixes them dynamically and follows a programmed gasket path. Room-temperature reaction removes the PVC oven step but places greater emphasis on ratio control, mixing quality and cleaning.
The motion range, dispensing head, material system and factory environment must be selected together. Acceptance testing should use the approved components and production parts after the specified reaction and conditioning time.
| Sealing material | Two-component PU system |
|---|---|
| Core operations | Meter, dynamically mix and dispense |
| Curing method | Room-temperature reaction |
| Configuration inputs | Path, bead size, ratio system, output and cleaning method |
| Acceptance focus | Ratio stability, bead continuity, adhesion and compression |
Approval before production
The values above are selection references, not a release specification. Final dimensions and performance must be confirmed with the actual lid, closing process and filled medium.
