EVA MATERIAL GRADE
Economy EVA for standard pail and drum lid applications
Economy EVA is the starting grade for cost-sensitive metal pail and drum lid projects using standard closing conditions. It is commonly evaluated for asphalt, waterproof coatings and general industrial packaging where the filled medium is not highly aggressive.
The grade should not be selected from price alone. Groove depth, lid curl, compression and stacked transport load determine whether the section maintains contact around the full sealing path. A sample lid test is required when the package will see long storage, vibration or temperature cycling.
