EVA MATERIAL GRADE
High-density EVA for firmer gasket sections
High-density EVA is considered when a standard foam section compresses too easily or when the lid design needs a firmer gasket to support closing and transport loads. It is used for engineering coatings and industrial lids after the groove and closing force have been reviewed.
A harder gasket is not automatically a better seal. Excessive section volume can increase closing force or prevent the lid from seating correctly. The design target is controlled groove fill with enough recovery to maintain contact after storage and handling.

Approval before production
The values above are selection references, not a release specification. Final dimensions and performance must be confirmed with the actual lid, closing process and filled medium.
