EVA MATERIAL GRADE
Food-grade EVA requires application-specific approval
Food-grade EVA is intended for projects that require a food-contact material option as well as the handling advantages of a pre-formed foam gasket. The grade may be supplied as a joined ring or as roll stock for automatic lid lining.
The name of the grade is not a blanket approval for every food or market. The applicable regulation, contact type, temperature, storage period and filled product must be identified before documents and samples are selected. Production approval should include the finished lid, not only the raw foam strip.
