RUBBER MATERIAL
EPDM rings for weather and water-based applications
EPDM is commonly evaluated for metal lid and vessel-cover projects exposed to water, weather, ozone or ultraviolet light. Rings are available in custom diameters and D, O, rectangular or project-specific sections.
Its outdoor durability does not make EPDM compatible with every chemical. Strong solvents and hydrocarbons require an immersion test using the actual formulation. Section design and compression must also be checked in the finished lid.
